Happy 4th friends! I hope you're in the patriotic spirit and surrounded by loved ones, like I am: home in Boston with my entire family, and D joining us this weekend to boot. We've got an agenda packed with my favorite activities: cooking and baking, golfing, beaching, boating, BBQ-ing, kayaking, eating, and catching the Boston Pops 4th of July spectacular, if the weather holds up.
Some things I've already made in the 5 hours I've been home: the prep and pickling for this classic sandwich, a tall glass of this summer stunner, this highly dip-able savory snack (thanks J!), and this fruity dessert, with the artful addition of mint.
